Rose Gudiel, Pasedena - Rose missed a payment after her brother was shot and killed. Her pleas to the bank fell on deaf ears, and she found herself in danger of eviction. So she reached out to ACCE and decided to take action! READ ABOUT HER HOME DEFENSE

nnis, Oakland In 2009 Tanya fell behind on her loan after having to endure major surgery, which kept her out of work for 18 months and left her with huge medical bills. Her bank, Wells-Fargo refused to work with her and she was foreclosed and evicted. READ ABOUT HER HOME RE-OCCUPATION

The San Francisco Three - District 10 has been the hardest hit by foreclosure, totaling approximately 3500 from 2008 to the end of this year. Three neighbors banded together to save their families and their neighborhood. READ ABOUT THEIR HOME DEFENSES
Li Li Liu, San Jose - Li Li applied to her bank for a loan modification but in the end she was rejected three different times by Citibank for a modification, before she fought back and won. READ ABOUT HER HOME DEFENSE
Myriam Munoz, Pacifica - Myriam, an ACCE member from Pacifica, had been trying for 2 1/2 years to get Bank of America to approve her application for a loan modification. READ ABOUT HER HOME DEFENSE
Tyrone Williams, San Jose - Tyrone had tried for 3 1/2 years to get Bank of America to give him a loan modification. Tyrone sent them his documents "at least 8 times" and then was told he didn't qualify for a modification. READ ABOUT HIS HOME DEFENSE
Lynette Neidhardt, Oakland - Lynette, a long time, community minded neighbor and activist, was in danger of losing her home of 20+ years. She had made repeated attempts to work with US Bank to prevent the foreclosure, to no avail. READ ABOUT HER HOME DEFENSE
